THE CRAFT OF WINE, BETWEEN PASSION AND TERROIR
A committed estate dedicated to sustainable viticulture
We are Sara and Charles, a French–Italian–Scottish duo driven by a shared passion: vines, wine, and respect for nature. Between Béziers and Pézenas, we brought Domaine Les Obrières to life—eight hectares of organically farmed vineyards, currently transitioning to biodynamic practices.
Every gesture we make in our vineyards is a tribute to the terroir, its history, and its biodiversity.

In service of winegrowing heritage and agroecology
Obrières, which means “worker” in Occitan, tells our story and that of manual labor. Here, each bottle is the result of craftsmanship, careful observation, and a constant dialogue with nature. Charles began as a vineyard worker, learning every gesture by hand, and we chose to carry this approach forward into our own winegrowing world.
Today, our organic vineyards allow us to produce a sincere, precise, and ethical wine—a true reflection of our commitment and our vision.

A human and ethical adventure
We left everything behind to create a vineyard that respects and experiments. He, with a background in economics and sustainable development, seeks to combine ethics with positive impact. She, a former HR professional, wanted to reconnect with what truly matters and with the living world.
Together, we built Obrières as one builds a dream: with passion, discipline, and curiosity—to make wine differently.
Between tradition and innovation
With only six vintages, we are challenging conventions and making our mark. Our ambition: to make Obrières a living laboratory—a place where vine and experimentation coexist to create the wines of the future.
We envision 2027 as a turning point: a unique wine, a testament to the resilience of the Mediterranean terroir, produced with respect for biodiversity and sustainable practices.
A Vineyard for the Future
Our estate is also a space for knowledge-sharing and learning. Winemakers and experts come to exchange ideas, share experiences, and test new practices. In our white wine conservatory, we preserve ancient and unusual grape varieties: Aramon Blanc, Carignan Blanc, Listan, Terret, Macabeu, Muscat, Piquepoul Blanc, Vermentino, Valensi Bianco… Each grape tells a story, and every bottle carries a legacy.
We are preparing to expand the conservatory with 1.40 hectares of ancestral white grape varieties, self-sufficient in water and isolated, to continue experimenting and creating a sustainable enclave—a true living laboratory in the heart of Languedoc.

More than a vineyard, an experience
Obrières is the taste of life, the meeting point of tradition and innovation, and a deep commitment to producing sustainable, sincere, and inspiring wine. Here, every bottle is meant to be savored, experienced, and shared.
